Drones used to survey Great Wall of China.

A report on the BBC shows that parts of the Great Wall of China that were previously almost inaccessible are now being surveyed using drones.

Using drones provides a fast and reliable way to assess the damage caused to the wall and enables the restorers to assess the strength of the structure, as well as assess the amount of work required.

The software even provides outlines of individual stones in the wall making dismantling and rebuilding to original style much easier, and preserving the Great Wall for generations to come a practical reality

Unmanned Images can provide survey images and videos of the inside and outside of a building that will undergo restoration at a fraction of the cost of scaffolding or man-lifts, and at zero risk to staff. Drop us a line, and we’ll do the rest.
